Clare

Clare originally trained as a sports therapist and a personal trainer developing interest and understanding of sports injury, rehabilitation and nutrition. From this experience Clare gained an ardent interest in osteopathy, and went on to study at the European School of Osteopathy, Maidstone where she graduated from in 2008 and registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)

With her previous insight, and as a keen sports woman, Clare continues to treat biomechanical issues arising from sports injury, as well as postural pain related to ergonomics and general life style stresses.

Clare has a specific interest in treating expectant and post-natal mothers, and has completed a number of post-graduate courses in this field. She also treats babies, addressing birth stresses and strains using the gentle cranial osteopathy techniques.

When treating, Clare enjoys integrating different techniques such as structural (involving gentle manipulations), visceral and cranial osteopathy. Treatment is adjusted according to the individual patient, and can suit anyone from the elderly to young children and babies.
